Grove City Lions Club purchases a OrCam My Eye
OrCam MyEye
The Grove City Lions Club purchased an OrCam MyEye for a local blind resident! She had normal vision until 10-15 years ago and is now blind due to a congenital condition. Since this time she has continued to loose her independence. Now thanks to the OrCam MyEye she is more independent!
The OrCam MyEye is suitable for all eye conditions and all levels of vision loss, as well as for people with reading fatigue and reading difficulties. The device increases independence by allowing individuals to access visual information (text, faces, products, colors, money notes), conveyed by audio. It will not improve a person’s vision. Hearing impaired individuals would not be able to benefit from the device.
